Licensed Behavior Analyst (NY)

E. Emilie Weiner, M.A., BCBA, LBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of New York. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Columbia University Teachers College and brings over a decade of experience in early childhood development, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), language delays, and complex developmental presentations.

At CM Psychology, Emilie is a clinical partner who co-leads the Social Skills Program, facilitating both child and parent groups across LEGO® Social Skills, PEERS®, and Children’s Friendship Training programs. Her work is grounded in evidence-based behavioral science while remaining deeply relational and developmentally attuned. She is especially skilled in helping children build flexible thinking, peer engagement skills, emotional regulation, and real-world social competence in ways that feel natural and empowering.

Emilie has advanced training in naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions, including Natural Environment Teaching (NET), the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), and Project ImPACT. Her clinical style integrates structured behavioral principles with play-based, child-led interaction, ensuring that learning occurs within meaningful social experiences rather than rigid instructional formats.

In addition to her work as a behavior analyst, Emilie is a certified New York State teacher in both general and special education for children from birth through sixth grade. She has worked across school, clinic, and home settings with individuals ages 2 through young adulthood, allowing her to bring a comprehensive systems perspective to her work with families.

Emilie is also certified to provide supervision to BCBA candidates and has spent multiple years mentoring and training behavior therapists pursuing board certification. Her leadership within multidisciplinary teams reflects her commitment to thoughtful collaboration and high-quality, ethically grounded care.

Families value Emilie for her warmth, clarity, and ability to translate behavioral science into practical, compassionate strategies that support meaningful developmental progress.
