Bethany Vibert, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in parent-mediated and evidence-based interventions for children with neurodevelopmental differences. She provides telehealth parent coaching in Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Intervention (NDBI), RUBI Parent Training for disruptive behaviors, and Unstuck and On Target to support executive functioning and flexible thinking. Dr. Vibert is licensed to provide telehealth services in New York, as well as over 40 states included in PSYPACT telehealth states. She partners closely with caregivers to translate research-backed, developmentally informed strategies into practical, sustainable approaches that strengthen connection, build regulation, and promote developmental progress within everyday routines.
Dr. Vibert received her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from the University of Denver. She completed her APA-accredited internship at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center and her postdoctoral fellowship in autism spectrum disorders at Weill Cornell Medical College in the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain. During her fellowship, she provided group and individual early intervention services, parent coaching, and comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for individuals across the lifespan, and participated in community advocacy initiatives with local emergency medical providers.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Vibert has conducted research focused on autism spectrum disorders, parent-mediated interventions, and the development of outcome measures for autism research. She has experience in study design, community-based research implementation, and coordinating pilot randomized controlled trials. Her research background informs her clinical approach, ensuring that families receive interventions grounded in scientific rigor while tailored to the unique strengths and needs of each child.
Dr. Vibert has extensive experience delivering empirically supported treatments, including parent-child interaction therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and social phobias. She is particularly skilled in helping parents feel confident and empowered as therapeutic change agents in their child’s development.
At our practice, Dr. Vibert also serves as a supervisor on comprehensive evaluation and testing cases completed by our pre-doctoral graduate externs and postdoctoral fellows. In this role, she provides close clinical oversight to ensure diagnostic clarity, thoughtful formulation, and evidence-based recommendations that reflect the highest standards of psychological assessment.
Dr. Vibert’s work reflects a deep commitment to bridging research and real-world care supporting families with warmth, clarity, and practical tools that foster meaningful developmental gains.
