At CM Psychology & Developmental Care, we provide comprehensive, developmentally informed evaluations designed to bring clarity to complex questions.
Our assessment model integrates gold-standard diagnostic tools with deep developmental formulation. We do not rely on checklist-based screening alone. Instead, we examine how cognitive, language, social, emotional, adaptive, and regulatory systems interact across development.
Each evaluation is individualized and built around the referral question with the goal of generating meaningful insight, diagnostic clarity when appropriate, and a practical roadmap forward.
Early identification matters. We provide developmental evaluations for infants and toddlers beginning as early as 12 months of age. At this stage, assessment focuses on:
Some young children show clear symptom manifestation early, while others demonstrate emerging differences. Our goal is not simply early diagnosis, but early understanding, when the brain is most malleable and intervention can meaningfully influence developmental trajectory.
For individuals with autism, or those suspected of having autism, we offer full neuropsychological evaluations that extend beyond diagnostic confirmation. Our comprehensive assessments provide a deeper understanding of cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning.
The goal is to understand the individual’s cognitive architecture and developmental profile in depth. This level of clarity allows for highly tailored recommendations across school, home, and therapeutic settings.

We conduct comprehensive autism evaluations across the lifespan.
Our model includes structured developmental interview, direct observation, and standardized assessment using research-aligned instruments. We are particularly experienced in nuanced and complex presentations, including:
An autism evaluation at our practice does not assess autism in isolation. We examine the full neurodevelopmental and emotional landscape to ensure accurate differentiation and diagnostic clarity.
Not every referral requires a full neuropsychological battery.
We also offer focused, question-driven evaluations designed to address specific concerns, such as:
These targeted evaluations are thoughtfully constructed to answer the referral question efficiently while maintaining diagnostic rigor.

We believe precision and humanity are complementary. A diagnosis alone is not the endpoint. Our evaluations are designed to:
Every evaluation concludes with a detailed written report and a collaborative feedback conference so that families leave with clarity, direction, and confidence in next steps.
Autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions are lifelong, developmental differences. As children grow, the demands of school, relationships, independence, and adulthood evolve, and so too can the expression of their strengths and challenges.
For this reason, many of the children we evaluate return for updated assessments as they progress through childhood, adolescence, and into adulthood. Follow-up evaluations allow us to monitor growth, refine recommendations, support educational transitions, and ensure that intervention remains developmentally aligned.
